“Mike not only walked us through the main issue but also took extra time to dig deeper and check for anything else that might cause problems down the line. He stayed past 5 pm and patiently explained the situation with photos and clear breakdowns. Hands down the best rep we’ve worked with so far and deserves more than 5 stars.”
Maria Gonzalez
“Nathan, Mike, and John were fast and professional. Got the job done in a timely manner and even checked for other possible issues afterward. Great company and fast workers!”
James T. Anderson

“First, I’d like to commend the rep, Nathan, for his professional performance and his outgoing personality showing true care for our issue and concerns. I asked for his recommendations for the resolution and improvement, which he provided and then followed through with a great solution. I look at it with peace of mind and gratitude!”

Frequently asked Questions

Is Lincoln Shield a law firm or real estate brokerage?
Is Lincoln Shield a law firm or real estate brokerage? No. Lincoln Shield is not a law firm, attorney group, or real estate brokerage. We are a servicing company. We do not provide legal, tax, or real estate advice. Our focus is simple: we attempt to help homeowners get more time so they can work toward getting out of foreclosure.
No company can guarantee a sale date extension. The trustee, lender, or current note holder is the only party that can legally approve an extension and decide how long it will be. Lincoln Shield steps in to attempt negotiation and present reasonable, logical, and legally appropriate grounds for postponement. While results are never guaranteed, we have helped many families and clients successfully obtain additional time, with an internal success rate of over 85%. In most cases, we can evaluate your situation upfront and let you know whether we believe we can help.
We have successfully helped clients postpone auctions even when they contacted us just 2–3 hours before the sale. However, waiting until the last minute can significantly reduce the chance of success. Based on experience, reaching out less than 5 days before the auction may make postponement more difficult. Your lender type, trustee, prior postponement history, and case details can also affect the outcome.
Unfortunately, we do not offer payment plans. Lincoln Shield is committed to providing fast responses, professional attention to detail, and a high level of client support. Payment plans would limit our ability to maintain the quality and speed needed to serve our clients effectively.
The purpose of our service is to help you gain more time, hopefully enough to pursue your next step out of foreclosure. Lincoln Shield is not a law firm, and we are not qualified to provide legal, tax, or complex foreclosure advice outside the scope of our service. However, when appropriate, we may be able to connect you with trusted professionals who can better answer questions related to your specific situation.
Homeowners and business owners typically contact Lincoln Shield when other options are not working. This may include situations where the lender refuses to grant more time, approve a payment plan, or accept a loan modification. Other clients reach out because they are concerned that the trustee or lender may not handle their situation quickly or reliably enough. No matter your circumstances, you are welcome to contact us to see whether we may be able to help.
